CHUTNEY RECIPE

1    CHOPPED GINGER  -50 G
2    JAGGERY GRATED  - AS REQUIRED
3    TAMARIND   -LEMON SIZE
4    OIL  2 TBSP
5    METHI SEED-1/4 TSP
6    RED CHILLY   -7
7    MUSTARD SEEDS-1/4TSP
8    URAD DAAL-1TSP
9    CHANNA DAAL-1TSP
10   HING (ASAFOETIDA)-1TSP

METHOD

1   HEAT OIL IN A PAN
2   ADD MUSTARD SEEDS,CHANNA DAAL,URAD DAAL,METHI SEEDS
3   SAUTE IT WITHOUT BURNING
4   ALLOW IT TO COOL
5   GRIND THE SAUTED INGREDIENTS
6    ADD THE GINGER AND JAGGERY AND GRIND
7    GOES WELL WITH DOSA AND IDLY
