         INGREDIENTS
  • SOOJI COARSE-1 CUP
  • CHOPPED ONION-HALF
  • MINCED GINGER-SMALL PIECE
  • CHOPPED GREEN CHILLY-2
  • CURRY LEAVES-A FEW
  • MUSTARD SEEDS-1TSP
  • URAD DAAL-1TSP
  • CHANNA DAAL
  • PEANUTS
  • WATER-2CUPS
  • SALT
  • GHEE OR OIL-2TSP
         
      METHOD


  • HEAT OIL IN A PAN
  • ADD CHANNADAAL,PEANUT OR CAHEWS ,LET IT TURN SLIGHT BROWN
  • NOW ADD MUSTARD SEEDS,URAD DAAL
  • ONCE IT SPLUTTERS,ADD ONIONS,GREEN CHILLY ,GINGER,CURRY LEAVES
  • SAUTE FOR A WHILE
  • ADD WATER,SALT AND RISE THE FLAME
  • ONCE IT BOILS REDUCE THE FLAME TO LOW ADD SOOJI AND STIR WELL
  • ONCE GET COOKED SWITCH OFF THE FLAME
  • CLOSE WITH A LID FOR 2 MIN
  • NOW SERVE THE DELICIOUS UPMA
