INGREDIENTS
1 RAW RICE SOAKED FOR TWO HOURS IN WATER-1 CUP
2 COCONUT SCRAPPED -A FIST
3 YEAST DISSOLVED IN TWO TEASPOONS OF SUGAR AND WATER-1/4 TSP
4 COOKED RICE-A FIST
5 SALT-AS REQUIRED
METHOD
1 GRIND ALL THE INGREDIENTS WITH LITTLE WATER
2 KEEP IT OVERNIGHT FOR FERMENTATION
3 POUR THE BATTER IN A HOT APPAM PAN
4 ROTATE THE PAN SO THAT THE BATTER SPREAD AROUND THE PAN
5 CLOSE IT WITH A LID ,LET IT COOK
6 OPEN THE LID AND SERVE HOT
TIPS
GENERALLY THE MIDDLE OF THE APPAM SHOULD BE THICKER
IF YOU LIKE TO HAVE A THIN CRISPY APPAM,POUR LITTLE BATTER
IF THE BATTER IS THICK ADD SOME COCONUT MILK AND MAKE IT A LOOSE BATTER OF DROPING CONSISTENCY
